Broadway Earnings
The weekly Broadway grosses are in and you can all rest assured that Broadway’s current darlings “Wicked” and “Jersey Boys” are still in the top spots. With “Wicked” - that musical about Oz before little Dorothy and her dog Toto dropped in - earning $1,405,642 this past week and “Jersey Boys” - that musical telling the tale of the growth of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons from each band members’ perspective - earning $1,234,306, the hottest spots in the Broadway lights are still these two musicals. The rest of Broadway?s uptake wasn’t too shabby either, hopefully showcasing how many people are getting turned onto the magic of theater and taking the time to splurge on a night out with their family or their friends to enjoy the offerings of the Broadway stage.
With the power behind each of these musicals that were the top-raters of the week, of course, comes the understanding that odds are good neither “Wicked” nor “Jersey Boys” should be leaving the Broadway boards anytime soon. You can always vouch for the fact that these shows are going to be great family fare so see what you can do about taking your family to enjoy one of these two shows, or another of the great shows on the Broadway boards today!
