“Passing Strange” Quite a Show!
It’s always shocking to me just how much theater always goes on at any one time on Broadway, and the new musical entitled “Passing Strange” is no exception. The good folks at Broadwayworld.com let us know what all the hype was about with the following description of this sure-to-be-a-hit musical.
The musical which achieved for itself a great amount of acclaim during it’s New York City debut at The Public Theatre last season, is being referred to be the abovementioned website as “the moving and hilarious tale of a young black bohemian on a journey of escape and exploration: leaving the confines of his middle-class, church-reared youth in south central L.A., the further he travels the more he discovers the journey within is the one that counts.”
With a description like that, who wouldn’t want to see this show? Previews began on Friday, February 8 with an Opening Night geared to take place on Thursday, February 28 at the Belasco Theatre. Make sure you keep an eye out on all things theater, I’ll do my best to keep you updated on things that sound interesting to me!
