“Words About Music”
Yesterday, on Wednesday, February 20, 2008, the Songwriters Hall of Fame presented a new program at the Leonard Nimoy Thalia at Peter Norton Symphony Space in good ol’ New York City. The amount of talent that must have been held within that space truly must have been incredible - and those of us out here on the West Coast surely had a slim to none chance of getting out there to see the talent gather together.
The program was hosted by Tony Award-winning composer and lyricist Maury Yeston and performers like Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik of “Spring Awakening” fame presented their original material. Lauren Pritchard and Tony Award-winner John Gallagher Jr. also performed. You can see the pictures at Broadwayworld.com of all the good times!
