Opening night of a show is always incredibly exciting, for everyone involved. Actors run to and fro behind the scenes, nervously anticpating lines and choreography, lighting and sound technicians pray there will be no technical glitches with their machinery throughout the night, ushers and house managers strive to ensure that their theater is in top shape, and audiences eagerly await whether a given show will be enjoyable or a waste of their night.

Which is what makes the after-party so much fun. The after-party for “Cry-Baby” was even more of a blast, thanks in large part to the fact that the John Waters’ musical has been adapted or the stage at all!
